HARVEST 2007
At Castelvecchio, the 2007 harvest started 20 days in advanced compared to the previous year, a situation commonly experienced by many other Italian wineries. For the white wines, we began to gather the grapes on the 20th of August with the Pinot Grigio, then we continued with the Traminer and the Sauvignon, and we ended with the Malvasia Istriana. Regarding the red wines, we started the harvest on the 20th of August with the Terrano and finished on the 10th of October with the Cabernet Sauvignon.

The 2007 quantity, superior to the 2006, is a little lower than the average amount (5-10%). The quality is excellent both for the whites and the reds thanks to the good climatic conditions during the grape harvest.

TERRANO 2006
We have just started to supply the market with the Terrano 2006, characterized by very typical organoleptic features similar to the ones of the previous vintage.

MALVASIA ISTRIANA 2006
We are quickly running out of the Malvasia Istriana 2006 thanks to the increasing popularity of this wine among our clients.

2007
The new vintages: The 2006 Whites and the 2004 Reds are officially presented for the first time at the Vinitaly. The deliveries will start from April 2007.

HARVEST 2006
The production was inferior for the 30% compared to the last year’s one. The harvest, thanks to the excellent weather cast, started in the middle of September and continued until the end of October. The perspectives for the red wines of this vintage are superb.

SAGRADO LINE 2003
The 2003 Sagrado Rosso is finally in the marketplace: great vintage and excellent wine which improves through the time the very well-appreciated qualities of this selection. We continue the sell of the 2004 Sagrado Bianco until it is out of stock.

MERLOT 2003
It is a new variety among our already known range of products. It is the result of an accurate selection that has produces 3,200 bottles of 750cc and 200 Magnum of 1,50 litres. The new and improved design of the label will be presented for the first time at the 2007 Vinitaly in Verona.

TERRANO 2005
We continue the sell of the 2005 vintage until the end of September 2007.
