wine cellar

The Winery is characterized by two Cellars, one is historic and one is recently built.

Located in the more modern cellar is the “reception room”, where the first processing of the grapes takes place. In the adjacent rooms are located the still tanks for fermentation. Also located in this cellar are the final refining rooms, the bottling plants and the storage warehouse.

The historic cellar is part of the basement of an ancient tower, very close to the Villa Veneta. This charming location has been restored and it is used as a refining hall for red wines. In this cellar the red wines age in barrels of French and Slavonian oaks, of different capacities. The permanence in wood varies depending on the vintage and on the type of wine.
